George Gdovin was born in New Haven, Ct. He spent the first few years of his youth living in Connecticut on the cost of Long Island Sound. More than likely, he learned to swim before he could walk. His brother, David and his mother, Monica moved down to Austin, Tx for his mom's career at American Airlines. From there the family bounced around Texas for a while until landing in Coppell where we met future step-father, Pat Minnehan and his widely hilarious jokes. Around the same time his father, also named George remarried as well to Janice. We moved into Southlake when it was still mainly cow pastures and finished out middle school through high school. George went on to TCU where he got a BBA in 4 yrs in E-Business. During college George worked at the Fort Worth Central Market where he met many of the people that have shaped his life into what it is today. He learned how to make mozzarella and studied cheese and delicatessen.
Today, George is a home owner and general jack of all trades extrodinaire, or at least that's what some people say... Fond of hot dogs, grilling and cooking, hanging out and being mostly right. All in all, luck as stricken the Gdovin - Minnehan - Chamberlain - Funk family bringing them all together while still remaining civil. While his place of birth is in Connecticut, any of his true friends know that he considers Texas his home.
